The really pink face on a mask (like the one on the left) indicates that this is a "Cristiano" mask--a parody of the European invaders of Mexico.

DESCRIPTION

The bearded "Cristiano" mask on the left, as well as the intricately carved bearded man on the right are carved and painted wood from Guerrero. The piece on the right was broken and mended (probably by the artist.)
