DESCRIPTION

Ex Votos (also called retablos) are painted tin, usually thanking a saint for giving the painter a miracle. This artist, David Mecalco, has a very "folk art" feel to his creations and is sometimes, even a little (or, a lot)  "tongue in cheek."
