Felipe Gomez' toys have been featured in several books on Mexican art including the book documenting the Rockefeller collection. He lives and works in a town near Oaxaca. The toys are stained and nailed
wood, featuring skeleton figures with cotton hair. All move when cranks are turned or strings are pulled. Mexico's handmade toys, though made for and played with by children in Mexico, would never pass
the regulations placed on children's toys in the USA. We sell these toys as art objects to collectors and other fascinated adults.
