Giant Figures by Juan Torres

DESCRIPTION	Juan Torres is a master artist of Capula, Michoacan. This piece is hand formed and painted clay and has been fired twice. Unlike most other Capula pieces, this is done in a matte finish. In Capula, the skeletal women are all called "Catrina" even if they do not look at all like Jose Posada's lady. And, for want of a better word, the men are called "Catrin." These gentlemen could be paired up with these ladies.
