Guadalupe  p 1 2 3

Updated  March 1, 2008

The crosses of Mexico are diverse and we always have a huge variety. There is no way all of our crosses can be displayed on this site. Nor is there any way this page can truly be kept up to date (though we do try.)  Note the huge variety of mediums and looks of the crosses. We also have a nice selection of silver cross pendants and other silver jewelry. If you are looking for something specific, please call or e-mail us and we can take pictures or simply describe what we have. More about the individual style of cross and the artists who do them is available by clicking the pictures.

Different crosses have different meanings to people. For instance, the empty cross symbolizes the risen Lord to people of Protestant faith. The crucifix, with the figure of the suffering Lord, symbolizes God's love for us. Mexicans have embraced all crosses and made up a few of their own. This is a deeply spiritual society in which there is room for all.
