Copal incense, the dried resin of the copal tree of Oaxacan woodcarving fame,  is burned year round in the churches in Mexico, but is best known for its use in the homes during Day of the Dead. It is said that the beautiful/familiar scent helps the souls find their way  during their annual visit home.

DESCRIPTION

Copal incense as burned in Mexican churches and homes  creates a lot of smoke and leaves residue in the incense burner which builds up quickly. We were excited to find a mild and fragrant incense which uses the actual Copal resin in a more practical stick form.  We have other scents as well.
