DESCRIPTION

These women are modeling (in hand coiled and painted clay) the traditional costumes of the state of Oaxaca that natives are so proud of. The costumes of Oaxaca are hand woven and embroidered.  Jesus Aguilar (the younger brother of the famed Aguilar sisters) has recreated them along with some of the traditional hairdos in clay.
