DESCRIPTION

These two lovely trees signed by Irma Margarita Nonato Diaz feature skeletal characters.  The first shows Catrina (both head only and whole body) flanked by seated skeletons holding pan de muertos (bread of the dead.) The second features skeletal dancers.  Because the firing process often causes discoloration of the clay, these "unpainted" trees are actually painted a terra cotta color.
