I give thanks to the Sacred Heart of Jesus for having permitted me to come out well from an operation on my leg that I fractured on the 30th of September, 1970.

In the year of our Lord, 1967, having planted very late and fearing my labor would be in vain, I invoked St. Isidro the farmer that he would give me a harvest, and he made a miracle. Living in Leon.

Ex Votos (also called retablos) are painted tin, usually thanking a saint for giving the painter a miracle. These are  fashioned to look like antiques.
